How long should my hair be in order to wax?

Your hair has to be a least 1/4-inch long, or around the size of a grain rice, before you wax. This helps ensure that hair is completely removed from the root. If it’s your first time waxing, try growing out for about 2-3 weeks long from previous hair removal. The longer the better is what I always say.

Does waxing hurt?

The truth is that everyone’s pain threshold is different. The first time should be the “painful one” but you can prepare make your waxing experience less painful.

How can I prepare for my wax?

Try to exfoliate the skin with a mild scrub to remove dead skin cells surround the hair follicles. Resist the urge to shave in-between reservations and try to avoid anything caffeinated such as coffee, tea, etc. before you wax because caffeine is a stimulant and cause more sensitiveness.

Can you wax during your menstrual?

Of course you can! Just make sure you shower right before your reservation and have a clean, new tampon. Keep in mind, your body is more sensitive during your menstrual, so any kind of waking might be a little bit more painful, but still manageable.
